H&M Ballet Flats (similar HERE)
MAC "Touch" Nude Lipstick (HERE)
How are you all doing? I am finally done with my finals and back with a new post. As I am typing this, I can barely keep my eyes open since I have been running on about 8 hours of sleep for the past 3 days. All I wanna do now is sleep for the next 24 hours...ha ha. Anyways, I wanted to share a school style post of what I wore last week when it was warmer outside. I paired a navy blue wiggle dress with a pair of cognac flats and completed the look with a skinny mustard colored belt. I will admit, the look is a bit polished for school but I was too darn excited to finally wear any else but jeans. I am off to spend some time with my bed, talk to y'all later.
Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week...:)

How is your week going so far? Mine has been super busy and since I have finals next week, I am taking a week of blogging to focus on my finals. So I won't have a new post till next Wednesday or Thursday. Hope y'all understand. and I am super duper excited to dedicate all the rest of my Spring/Summer to this blog. Like I promised, this was outfit was what I wore for my birthday dinner last Friday. The whole look was inspired by this gorgeous peplum hem skirt from ASOS. The bold neon color plus the feminine hem just screams my name. The skirt itself is such a statement therefore I paired it with a plain black off shoulder top, added a statement earrings, printed clutch and a pair of black sandals. This skirt is definitely one of my staple pieces for the summer so you will surely be seeing more of it on my blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.

How are y'all doing? Hope you had a wonderful week, I sure did. Since my birthday was on a Friday, I still had classes and had to go to school. In fact I even had a Chemistry exam that morning which totally sucked cos I had to spend all night studying for it. Honestly this past couple of weeks, I haven't been really caring about what I wore to school since its been so busy and stressful. That's also why I have not done any school style posts lately. So, for my birthday I definitely wanted to get off my funk and luckily this gorgeous printed multi-colored pants came to the rescue. It's from the Nanette Lepore "L'Amour" collection at Jcpenney. I pick it up a couple of weeks ago for  about $15 with a discount code. It's like the perfect statement pants for a bold spring/summer look. With the bold multi-colored prints, I made it the statement piece and paired it with a simple white shirt and my favorite high-top sneakers. I completed the look with a flirty faux leather jacket from Justfab. Seriously one of my favorite jackets, it just goes with everything and works perfectly with my spring transitions outfits. I will be posting what I wore for my birthday dinner later this week, stay tuned...:)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!

Olivia Pope Inspired...

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!
H&M Fitted Coat (HERE)
Forever 21 Shirt (similar HERE)
H&M Slim-fit Pants (HERE)
Justfab "Midtown" Bag (HERE)
Report Signature "Murphy" Pumps (HERE)
MAC "Touch" Lipstick (HERE)
How are you all doing? Hopefully you all are doing better than I am, I am so tired of studying and obviously sleep deprived. I am literally so over this week already, I just want it to be the weekend already. As soon as I saw this coat at H&M, it reminded me of the lead character in one of my favorite shows: Scandal. I am pretty sure you know who Olivia Pope is, if you don't get on Netflix and watch Scandal ASAP. Olivia Pope is played by the beautiful Kerry Washington and I absolutely love her character's style. Her style is very classic, subtle and chic. She is known for her fabulous coats and muted color palette of white, gray, beige, cream and black. I was inspired to do a look based on Olivia Pope's style after getting this beautiful H&M coat. I paired the coat with a pair of pale pink pants and crisp white shirt. I added a white bag and leopard print pumps to complete the look. Let me know what you think of my take on Olivia Pope's style and I cannot wait for Scandal Thursday
Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!
