Hey Lovelies! How are you all doing? I am doing great! I finally feel like myself after a rough couple of days of having a cold. Today's outfit post features MIXING PRINTS (or Clashing Prints). I have done a couple of outfits mixing prints here and here. I was inspired by Anna from Fash Boulevard's post on the Art of Mixing Prints and this is my take on it. I am wearing a Striped top with a Snake-Print + Leopard Print Skirt. I added a pop of color with a neon belt and a black bag. I wanted to pair this outfit with solid black sandals but I went a lil bit crazy and added a pair of printed pumps (making 3 different prints that I mixed together). Here is a couple of tips on mixing prints.

  • Try the classic combo of Stripes + Polka Dots or Stripes + Animal Print
  • Stick to similar colors and palettes.
  • Accessorize with solid colors to pull the outfit together.
  • Use prints of different sizes (big and small prints together).
  • Wear the boldest print on the part of your body you want to flatter or emphasize.
Most importantly have FUN mixing prints and feel free to experiment. It's the way rock you it that matters not the way other people feel about it. For more tips on mixing prints, check out Fash Boulevard's post hereHope you like my outfit...:) Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful day!
xoxo
