June Outfits Recap...

Happy New Week Lovelies!
I hope you all had a restful weekend, I sure did but I also did something exciting. I finally started sewing, so far, I have made 2 full midi skirts and a iro and buba set. I will feature my first DIY next week on the blog. Can you believe it's another ending of the month? We are officially halfway through the year, I thought we just said "Happy New Year" not long ago...lol. Anyways since this month introduced Summer, it was filled wiht bold colors, prints and casual outfits. I love that I featured looks that can inspired any and everyone this month. There were causal outfits and then dressy ones.  I think I am going to make this arrangement a must on this blog. What do you guys think? Next month is going to be exciting because I am going to be featuring some outfits made by yours truly, so stay tuned!

How is your week going so far? I am sure you all know by now that I am totally in love with Full Midi Skirts, they are conservative and very lady-like. I paired this yellow one with a printed denim shirt and added a pair of orange pumps to play with the citrus colors color combo. I completed the look with a printed clutch and bold red lips. I am seriously gonna be living in full midi skirts all season long so stay tuned to see how I styled my next one...:)

How was your weekend? Mine was just okay, went to work and caught up on some tv. If you saw my Spring/Summer trend report HERE, then you know that one of the major shoe trend for the season is Gladiator sandals. In this post, I am showing how I recently wore a pair of those sandals for a casual lunch date with my Aunt and Uncle. I simply styled the sandals with a printed short dress from the Peter Pilotto for Target Collection. A major style tip for styling Gladiator sandals is pairing them with shorts, skirts or dresses above the knee to make the sandals the statement piece. You can also style them with maxi dresses or skirts with high slits and let the gladiator sandals peek through the slits.
Let me know how would you style the Gladiator sandals trend?
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week...:)
