I hope you all had a blessed week! As I am typing this, I am frantically packing last minute for my family vacation. I have not taken a shower, I need to do my pedicure and we leave in a few hours. While packing, I remembered I had not uploaded this outfit post, so here am I typing instead of packing...smh. I seriously need to get it together...lol. But I just could resist sharing this look with you guys. I made this skirt about 3 weeks ago and wore it to church 2 Sundays ago. And then to an event in the evening. Y'all know by now that I love my peplum hem skirts and I have tons from ASOS but I did not have an ankara on so I made one. I used a pattern I got from Walmart to cut the pencil skirt part and then cut a long piece of fabric, gathered it and then added it to the pencil skirt pattern. As you can tell it turned out great and I absolutely love the fit. The styling is pretty simple with a white lace tee and a pop of color yellow on my sandals. I have been getting request to make skirts like this for sale, but at the moment I am still learning once I feel I confident enough to make it for others I will let y'all know...:)
P.S. I don't know how often I will blog while I am on vacation but if you wanna know more about about my trip and stay updated with me, don't hesitate to follow me on instagram (@rallydfashionfanatic). I will be sharing tons of pictures and outfits once I get back.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and for your support. Have a lovely weekend!
