How are y'all doing? I hope you had a lovely weekend! I sure did, I got to spend time hanging out with my mom and some friends as well. And I finally finished a dress that I was working on for the past 2 weeks and it turned out perfect, it was fully lined with lace details. Plus I got to wear it to the Thanksgiving Service at Church yesterday. I couldn't even believed that I made it, it was just so gorgeous and I received tons of compliments on it. I am so excited and anxious to share the dress with you in a blog post next week.
Anyways, on to this outfit. Most of you probably know that the Fall season starts in about 2 weeks and being the person that I am, I am already preparing for my fall wardrobe. Fall is mostly about layering of course, darker color hues, boots, booties, sweater, leather but you can never do wrong with the classic black and white color in any season. Hence this look I wore to church a couple of Sundays ago featuring my new leather midi pencil skirt from ASOS. I actually got this skirt earlier this year in January but my normal size was a bit too tight for some reason so I returned it and totally forgot about it until I saw in again while browsing around their summer clearance sale. I got it in a size bigger since it was on major sale and I love the everything about it including the pockets and length. Only to find out that the bigger size is kinda big at the waist...:( Oh the woes of shopping online right? LOL. I decided to keep it anyways, I figured it's just more comfortable to wear. I paired it with a white ruffled sleeve top, added a statement necklace, bold red lips and a pair of black and white leopard print (definitely serves as a neutral) pumps. I love this look, it's classic, simple, and very sophisticated. Hope you like this outfit as much as I do...:) Enough ramblings from me, I will talk to y'all later!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
