How was your week? Mine was super busy with work and my evening classes. Nowadays, I feel like all I do is go to work in the morning, study afterwards and then attend classes in the evening, I feel so drained. I have not even had time to think of sewing anything for myself but last weekend, I have a few hours and quickly whipped up this skirt to wear to Thanksgiving service on Sunday. I have had the faux leather fabric in my stash since last Fall and I knew I was going to make a skirt since I don't have one this color in my closet. After cutting and sewing it with 3 hours, I discovered that it was too big since the fabric is a bit stretchy, honestly I rocked it that way the next day but I will have to adjust it when I get the chance. I paired it with a burgundy turtleneck and pumps for a monochromatic look and added a touch of print with this timeless leopard print blazer. BTW I am wearing a panty hose that matches my skin color, so my legs are not freezing, I think I got them on clearance at Macys about 2 years ago.
I am off to get some rest before my class, so talk to you all later...:)
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
