Hello Everyone! How are you all doing? I know, I know, I have been a bad blogger...:( It's just been super hectic with school that I haven't even had time to do anything else but study and go to class. But I am so excited to be back and sharing this fun outfit that I made way back in January. If you follow me on Instagram (@rallydfashionfanatic), then you probably saw the boomerang of me rocking this dress. Everyone really loved it, even I was blown away by the way the jumpsuit turned out. It's definitely one of my favorite things that I have made in my almost 3 years of sewing.
I used a set of 2 beautiful printed fabrics from my stash, they are from an old Vlisco collection that has sadly been discontinued. I am totally obsessed with the "all about the sleeves" trend going on right now so creating this jumpsuit was another way to rock the trend. I actually used 3 different McCalls Patterns to make it, I stepped out of my comfort zone by combining the patterns to create this look. I used m7315 for the bodice, m7366 for the bottom and then m7505 for the bell sleeves, luckily the waist measurement for the bodice and bottom of the jumpsuit matched perfectly so I didn't have to make any adjustments. I love every single detail about it from the mixed printed fabrics, to the jumpsuit style that has pockets and the fit is so on point too. I am desperately counting down till spring so I can make more bold pieces like this. Anyways, let me know, what do you guys think of my "Franken" patterns jumpsuit?
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

  1. This is beautiful Raliat, its still hard to believe that you learnt how to sew on your own. I love the mix of the different prints and your new hairdo.
